Sewa Parva 2025

 Basugaon College, in collaboration with the NSS Unit, VSS Cell, Student Union, College Administration, and District Forest Officials, observed SEVA PARV 2025 from 17 September to 2 October to honour Mahatma Gandhi and promote selfless service. As part of the Assam Government’s initiative, over 30 lakh saplings were distributed across the state, including plantations in 20,000 schools with 75 saplings each. On 19 September, the college conducted a cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, followed by plantation and awareness programmes. DFO/DcF Guwahati Shri Pranjal Kakoti and other forest officials participated and appreciated the efforts. The Principal encouraged students to make service and environmental care part of their daily lives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge to continue such activities. SEVA PARV 2025 inspired unity, empathy, and responsibility for a greener future.
